What should I do first?

Score engines

Protect these

  • Ethics: aim for confident recall, not vague familiarity.
  • GK: Mizoram + India + current affairs + recurring MPSC areas.
  • Polity: exploit an existing strength through repeated testing.
Known risk

Writing cannot be postponed

One short descriptive task every 1–2 days is better than “starting essay practice later”.

If the date suddenly drops

Do not restart.

The same notes, errors and revision queue become the compressed plan.

Execution

Today's plan

Today means actual study, not a checklist. Each block now names the exact lesson, recall target or writing task. Tap Open first; use Mark done only after completing the finish condition.
Practical rule: If you miss a block, do not push the whole schedule late. Skip the lowest-priority block and protect sleep.
Verified exam structure

Official blueprint

400 written + 50 interview
Qualification is paper-wise. The regulations require at least 35% in each written paper. The 30 September 2026 addendum says interview shortlisting is based on the aggregate of Papers I–IV among candidates who qualify in every paper, and final merit uses Papers I–IV plus interview.
Working score target

Build a cushion, not a bare pass

Targets are editable planning numbers, not predictions. The statutory floor remains 35 marks in each paper.

Latest source note in this build

Do not hard-code an exam date

The offline build keeps the exam date manual. Enter it on the Dashboard only when an official date is notified. This prevents an old schedule from silently becoming your plan.

Read · listen · recall · test

Study Reader

0 / 0 learned
Use this as the default study route: most reading, revision and testing should happen inside the portal. PDFs in Resources are backup references. For Paper I and Paper II, keep some handwriting practice because the actual examination is conventional/descriptive.

Working study map

This map follows the official written syllabus and its mark weightings. Tick a topic only when you can retrieve and use it under exam conditions—not merely after reading it once.

Automatic rule: Wrong answers are saved. In the 600-question Ethics bank, a correct answer marked Doubtful or Guess is also saved for repair. Mark an item fixed only after you can explain it without the options.

Not connected
1 · Connect this device

Use one private study key

Enter the same key on your iPad, phone and PC. The key is kept only in this browser and is never included in your progress backup.

The hosted site will tell you whether Cloudflare D1 and the secret are configured correctly.
2 · First device

Send this device to the cloud

Use this once on the device that already has your real study progress. It becomes the starting cloud copy.

This does not delete local progress.
3 · New device

Bring cloud progress here

On a new iPhone/iPad/PC, connect with the same key and pull the existing cloud copy before studying.

A local safety backup is made before cloud data is applied.
Normal use

Automatic merge

After initial setup, changes are merged by item timestamp. The most recently changed version of each progress item wins.

Practical rule: once the hosted version is working, use the hosted URL on every device. Do not alternate between the hosted site and a local index.html file, because they have separate browser storage.
Compressed strategy

If the exam is suddenly close

Protect scoring areas and convert what you already know into marks.

Non-negotiables

  • No new book unless it fixes a specific, important gap.
  • No passive reading session without recall, questions or a written output.
  • Wrong MCQs are a priority list, not a disappointment list.
  • Writing practice continues even when the schedule gets tight.
  • Final days are for retrieval, sleep and exam execution—not exploration.
